Roger L. Simon: Ahmadinejad - he's bad and he's back

Kind of reminds you of "Gable's back and Garson's got 'im," doesn't it? Anyway, Crazy Ahmad is back with another letter to the American people, to be released later today. [With another Harry Potter?-ed. Spiderman.] Those highbrows at the AP inform us: "Average Iranians were disappointed by the cold response to the May letter, the first official communication between the two countries' presidents since the Islamic Revolution of 1979." [Well, they would know, wouldn't they?-ed. Who better?]

Meanwhile, an interesting debate is taking place on Pajamas, sparked by Paul Belien's criticism of Ralph Peters' column skeptical of "Eurabia". Peters has logged in himself in the comments (alas, with a rather pompous...defensive?... opinion of blogs). Belien has informed me he will reply later in the day. Perhaps they would like to factor in this report.

One would think that serious, thinking Islamists (whatever they would look like) have already made their plans and projections for Europe over the next generation. I don't think that events will be random, or allowed to swirl out of control.

Certainly the replacement of native Europeans, and their culture, will be less dramatic than the type of warfare predicted by either Steyn or Peters, but gradual and smooth, with as few bumps and potholes as necessary for the new majorities.

The most sensible path would be simple marginalization of the originals; control of local institutions, neighborhoods, courts, the EU military (which would be the greatest threat to the cuckoos), media, and an exploitative presence in the bureaucracies of Brussells and so forth. Just allow the old inhabitants to die off, gradually reducing their influence and benefits to hasten the process.

Anyone who thinks that there aren't long-term plans for this process is simply naive.

From Ahmadinejad's ass to AP's lips. Suction has been achieved, the flapper valves are fully open, and the pumps are running. NASSER KARIMI, newscaster of the world, thank you for informing me of the all important average Iranian's opinion. Now go suck on an egg.

The ability of the AP to fall for Ahmadinejad's tricks is amazing. Does anybody really believe that average Iranians could express an opinion that diverged from state opinion? You have to be "enlightened" to see what the AP sees.

Regarding Lem's comments on demographics, the birth rate in the Islamic world is about seven times that of Europe, Japan and the US if I remember my facts correctly. (It is a huge number regardless.) There was an editorial in the Wall Street Journal about this. It's bad news long-term. Even the Russians are worried that 50% of the population will be Muslim by 2050 at current birth rates.

Peter's idea that America import Europe's Islamic problem shows an incredible ability for critical thought.

There are about 8 million Muslims in the US today. Maybe many object to the idea of a Caliphate and a worldwide Isalmic theocracy. I bet that if pressed, most would say that would be the ideal world order. You certainly do not hear much in the way of objections to the end goals (much less the means being employed). What would happen if 8 million people all of a sudden became "disruptive"?

Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad will smugly make his pronouncements because he knows there are few with the guts to stand up to him. Bush will and this is one of his redeeming qualities.

Now if I, Ahmadinejad, can only figure out to get my hands on Iraq and it's oil, I can more effectively threaten and manipulate the West economically!

Declining birth rates are but a symptom of a deeper malaise. This malaise is the result of nearly a century of leftist control of Europe`s institutions, education being the most important. In order to pave the way for socialism, the left destroyed every vestige of pride that Europeans had in their history, their achievements and in their sense of justness of their society. Little did the Marxists believe that after they so brilliantly destroyed their societies that radical Islam would be there waiting in the wings to pick up the pieces.

The same process is being repeated in the US. The Democratic Party is in the midst of becoming a Social Democratic party. If it succeeds in its agenda, America will suffer the same fate as Europe.
