It continues - and I'm not even a Spurs fan! Hey, the guy's got charisma.

The guy shows a real joy at being alive--and you're right, it's contagious. A foreigner that comes here and shows that sort of delight with this country does indeed help take-it-for-granted Americans to see how refreshing this place can be. David Robinson did the same sort of thing for the Spurs back in the late 90s (when a lot of baddies were taking BB headlines)--proudly coming out of a long Navy career that ate up a lot of his best basketball years, never having anything mean or self-important to say, mentioning (but only if asked) his strong church and community work. He and Avery Johnson are what made a lot of people love the Spurs. And Pop, too--old-school self-effacing examples all, of what makes fans feel good.
Your post confused this poor Brit.
'Manu' in the UK is a shortening of 'Manchester United', and 'Spurs' a shortening for 'Tottenham Hotspurs'
But it is all about balls anyway.
HEY! I named my new teacup daschund after Ginobili...Her name is Gini Ginobili and yes I call her by her full name. She's much shorter than Manu but has his joy of living. I'm looking for a Spurs shirt for my puppy, can anyone help?
Manu should have won the MVP. Duncan - who missed almost 20 shots in Game 7 - benefits from the Jordan/Shaq MVP syndrome: the best player on the team always wins Finals MVP. Does not make sense to me, but oh well.
